Crosby Beach

Crosby Beach is a long, sandy stretch of coastline just north of Liverpool, and one of the most accessible beaches from Manchester. Famous for Antony Gormley's iconic Another Place installation - 100 cast-iron figures spread across the beach and out into the sea - it's a truly unique and memorable place to visit. The views across to the Wirral, North Wales, and the stunning sunsets are spectacular. There is parking nearby and the beach sits at the start of the 22-mile Sefton Coastal Path. Please note this is a non-bathing beach due to unpredictable tides, so always check tide times before visiting.

Build sandcastles, paddle in the waves, and don't miss the historic New Brighton Lighthouse, dating back to 1830. Beyond the beach, the Victorian Quarter is packed with independent bars, restaurants, vintage shops, and a lively street art trail. Adventure Golf, escape rooms, and the Floral Pavilion theatre make it a brilliant all-round family day out.
