The Whitworth is a beautifully restored, award-winning art gallery located in the heart of Whitworth Park. Part of the University of Manchester, it is home to an internationally significant collection of over 55,000 works including prints, textiles, wallpaper and contemporary art.

Set within glass-fronted modern architecture that opens directly into parkland, the gallery is designed to blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor space – making it as much a relaxing day out as it is a cultural visit.
