Storytime at Hulme High Street Library is a free weekly session run by Manchester Libraries, held every Thursday during term time. Designed for children up to age five, each session brings together stories, songs and rhymes in a friendly and relaxed setting at Hulme High Street Library and Leisure Centre.

Sharing a story with your child is a simple but powerful thing — a chance to slow down, snuggle up and spend some unhurried time together. Even the youngest babies respond to the sound of songs, music and rhythm, and regular storytime sessions can help little ones build new words and develop a love of books from the very earliest age.

Storytimes are also a wonderful opportunity for parents and carers to meet other local families and explore everything that Manchester's libraries have to offer.
