Storytime at Burnage Library is a free weekly session run by Manchester Libraries, held every Wednesday during term time. Designed for babies and toddlers up to age four, each session brings together stories, songs and rhymes in a friendly and relaxed setting at Burnage Library Activity and Information Hub.
Sharing a story with your child is a simple but powerful thing — a chance to slow down, snuggle up and spend some unhurried time together. Even the youngest babies respond to the sound of songs, music and rhythm, and regular storytime sessions can help little ones build new words and develop a love of books from the very earliest age.
Storytimes are also a wonderful opportunity for parents and carers to meet other local families and explore everything that Manchester's libraries have to offer.
