Sacred Heart Children's Centre runs a broad weekly programme of groups and activities for local families. Current sessions include:

• Baby and Me — a calm, nurturing space for parents to connect and bond with their baby (booking required)

• Wrigglers, Rollers and Crawlers — songs, rhymes and play for non-mobile babies supporting early physical development

• REAL (Raising Early Attainment in Literacy) — a literacy-focused group for children aged 2–3 (booking required)

• Mums Matter — a wellbeing group for mums

• Being a Parent Programme — a group for parents of children aged 1–3 supporting positive parenting

• Caribbean and African Health Network Health and Wellbeing Drop-In — weekly health and wellbeing support

• Parent Peer Support Group — monthly sessions for parents of children with SEND

• Stay, Play and Learn — relaxed drop-in play sessions for children aged 0–5 and their families

• Shelter — monthly housing advice sessions (by appointment, every third Friday)

• Birth Registration appointments — register your baby's birth at the centre

Outreach workers are available to discuss groups and services, school readiness, health information, referrals, foodbanks, financial and benefit advice, housing, counselling, domestic abuse support, adult education, and volunteering and employment support.
