Breastfeeding Support Groups

Breastfeeding support groups take place across Manchester throughout the week, offering parents and carers a chance to access peer support in welcoming community venues.

  • Wednesday | 10.30am-12pm — Manchester Art Gallery, Mosley Street, M2 3JL

  • Thursday | 9.30am-11.30am — Gorton Sacred Heart Family Hub, Glencastle Road, Gorton, M18 7NE

  • Thursday | 12.30pm-2.30pm — Miles Platting and Ancoats Sure Start Centre, Holland St, M40 7DA

  • Friday | 12pm-1.30pm — Levenshulme Inspire Centre, 747 Stockport Road, M19 3AR

The Manchester Infant Feeding Team runs breastfeeding support groups across a range of community venues in Manchester throughout the week. Sessions are championed by peer support volunteers known as Breast Friends.

Groups take place in children’s centres, family hubs, cafés and community venues across areas including Whalley Range, Higher Blackley, Wythenshawe, Gorton, Miles Platting, Ancoats and Levenshulme.
