Following a major restoration, the Hall reopened in 2022 and is now open to the public on selected dates, with regular open days organised by the Friends of Wythenshawe Hall.
These open days are a great opportunity to explore inside the historic building, learn about its fascinating past and enjoy a relaxed day out in one of Manchester’s largest parks.
What to expect:
- Access inside the historic Tudor hall
- Displays and information about the building’s history
- Friendly volunteers sharing stories and insights
- Beautiful surroundings within Wythenshawe Park
Wythenshawe Park itself offers plenty more to explore, including open green space, woodland, a community farm and play areas, making it easy to turn your visit into a full family day out.
A lovely low-cost activity for families, history lovers and anyone curious to explore one of Manchester’s hidden gems.
