The Charity Bike Shop in Chorlton is part of Cyclists Fighting Cancer, a charity supporting children and young people living with and beyond cancer across the UK. The shop recycles and refurbishes donated bikes, accessories and cycling equipment, with profits helping fund bikes and trikes for children affected by cancer.

Thursday Evening Shop Spins are relaxed social rides designed to bring local cyclists together for an evening ride as the lighter evenings return. Riders meet at the shop from 5.30pm, with the group rolling out by 5.45pm at the latest to make the most of the daylight.

The rides are informal and aimed at creating a regular weekly meet-up for cyclists looking for a social or tempo-style pedal. All riders participate under their own cognisance and are responsible for their own bike, route finding and safety.
