Unleash your family’s creativity this May half term with Manchester Art Gallery’s free family activity programme.
Taking place from Tuesday 26th May to Thursday 28th May is Still Standing, a special event at the gallery adding even more creative experiences for visitors during the half term break.
Join artist Gherdai Hassell for a hands-on sculpture workshop designed for the whole family. Inspired by the artworks and furniture on display, you’ll be invited to experiment, play and create your own imaginative balance sculptures.
Explore a variety of materials - from coloured clay and cardboard to washi tape and wire - and discover new ways to build, shape and express your ideas.
Take your finished piece home, or choose to leave it on display in the gallery, complete with your own personalised label.
This is a free event and there is no need to book, making it a great option for a relaxed half term day out in Manchester.
