Next dates
Bramhall and Woodford Rotary Club is once again holding the Duck Race and Family Fun Day
Starting at 11.00am, there will be a variety of duck races to watch and there will be speciality races with local celebrities and businesses getting involved by decorating giant racing ducks that will then go beak to beak in the river
As well as Duck Racing, with some fabulous prizes for the winners, there will be many sideshows – fairground rides, bouncy castle and craft stalls. Come and try Bhangra-cise with Raj, watch the amazing Sparklers
Elite Cheerleading and listen to the Pantonics All Star Steel Orchestra. Singers and dance groups from the area will entertain you throughout the day.
Saturday 17th May 2026
From 11am
The money raised will go to the Motor Neurone Disease Association, South Manchester. Their Association’s mission is to support people living with MND, their carers, families and friends. The Branch aims to provide support for people affected by MND, raise awareness in the Greater Manchester area and influence local policy and decision-makers to benefit people affected by MND and liaise with health and social care professionals. And other charities and good causes supported by the Rotary Club will also benefit.
Entry to the event is still free but please buy a ticket for a duck in one of the Thousand Duck races for just a pound.
They are available on the day or you can get them here. You could be a winner of £100! But you have to be in it to win it!!
