Stockport will come together to honour the Armed Forces community with a full day of celebrations and activities in the town centre.

Visitors can enjoy military displays, live performances, entertainment, family-friendly activities and opportunities to meet organisations connected to the Armed Forces community.

The event celebrates serving personnel, veterans, reservists, cadets and military families, while also giving the public the chance to learn more about the work and history of the Armed Forces.

There will be plenty happening throughout the day for all ages, creating a lively community atmosphere across Stockport town centre.

Armed Forces Day events across the UK are held to recognise and thank the men and women who serve or have served in the British Armed Forces.
