Stock Party returns for its third year this summer and promises to be bigger and bolder than ever, transforming Stockport town centre into a huge open-air celebration of independent food, drink, music and culture.
The festival will stretch from Great Underbank through Stockport Market Place and all the way to Robinsons Brewery Yard, with live DJs, pop-up bars, street food traders and entertainment taking over venues and outdoor spaces across the town.
Visitors can expect music and performances throughout the day including DJ stages hosted by Red Bull and SK1 Records, plus live entertainment and after-party events running into the evening.
Food and drink will be a huge part of the celebration with independent favourites including Honest Crust Pizza, Marley’s, Convene, The Dilly Deli, Gatto Pizza and On Da Rocks all taking part.
Families are well catered for too, with free activities and creative spaces happening across the town. Stockroom will host a family-friendly breakout area, Merseyway will feature workshops and interactive activities, while Hillgate Cakery will host a free family disco from 6pm to 9pm complete with inflatable instruments and party classics.
Good Yard Studio will open for craft workshops and open studios, while The Apple Core will transform into a wellness and outdoor-inspired social space.
Independent venues across Stockport including Bruk, Runaway Brewery, Fell Stockport, Little Scarves and This Godless Place will also join the celebrations with special events, outdoor bars, live music and DJ sets.
At its heart, Stock Party is a celebration of the people, businesses and independent spirit that make Stockport unique, creating one huge community party in the middle of summer.
