The Manchester Festival of Nature returns to Heaton Park for a fantastic day celebrating the wildlife, plants and natural spaces found across Manchester and beyond.

Organised by the Manchester Nature Consortium, the festival brings together arts, crafts, music and hands-on activities designed to help families discover more about the natural world on their doorstep.

Visitors can take part in a huge range of activities including natural dyeing, mindfulness, forest bathing, wildlife recording, willow weaving, seed bomb making, scavenger hunts, woodland games, den building, wind spinners and much more.

One of the highlights of the day is the legendary Pollinator Parade, taking place from 1pm to 1:30pm, bringing plenty of colour, creativity and celebration to the festival atmosphere.

Live music and entertainment will run throughout the event, helping create a lively and welcoming atmosphere for visitors of all ages.

The Manchester Festival of Nature has become one of the city’s best-loved outdoor family events, attracting thousands of visitors to Heaton Park each year.
