Little Reads with Manchester Literature Festival is a creative and engaging storytelling experience for young children and their families. Each monthly session brings picture books to life through a mix of drama, movement, dance, songs, crafts and imaginative play.

Designed especially for children aged 2 to 6, the sessions encourage creativity, confidence and a love of reading in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Families are encouraged to join in together, making the sessions interactive and playful for both children and grown-ups alike.

With themed activities inspired by popular children’s books, Little Reads offers a fun way for young readers to explore stories beyond the page. Children are also invited to bring along their favourite cuddly toy to join in the fun.
