Location: Heaton Park, Middleton Road, Manchester, M25 2SW
Families are invited to explore Heaton Park with a packed programme of outdoor activities and community events taking place across the week.
Try your hand at radio orienteering with Bury Amateur Radio Society and discover how navigation and radio skills work together in this unique outdoor adventure activity.
There will also be two Orienteering for Absolute Beginners sessions, including one specially aimed at families and another designed for adults wanting to learn the basics.
Nature lovers can join the fun at the Balsam Bashing Disco, helping remove invasive Himalayan Balsam plants from the park while enjoying a lively disco soundtrack.
