Broad Oak Hearts Trail
Dates: Every school holiday
Location: Fletcher Moss Park, Didsbury, Manchester
Times: During daylight hours
Price: Donation (pay what you can)
Booking: No booking required – just turn up
Run by parents from Broad Oak Primary School, the Hearts Trail is a fun, themed activity that changes each school holiday, giving families a new reason to revisit the park again and again.
The aim is simple - follow the route and see if you can spot all of the hidden hearts along the way. It’s a great way for children to explore Fletcher Moss Park while enjoying a mini adventure.
How it works:
Pick up a trail sheet from the Fletcher Moss Food Truck
Make a small donation to support the trail
Follow the directions and hunt for the hidden hearts
Post your completed sheet in the trail postbox at the end
At the end of each trail, all completed entries are entered into a prize draw, giving children the chance to win a fun prize. Trail sheets are securely destroyed after the draw.
This is a brilliant, feel-good activity for all ages - perfect for getting outside, exploring nature and supporting a local community initiative at the same time.
If you’d like to support the trail further, organisers also welcome donations of family-friendly prizes.
