Get into the festive spirit with a sparkling evening of seasonal music performed by the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra at The Bridgewater Hall on Friday 19 December 2025 at 7.30pm. 

Led by conductor Leslie Suganandarajah, with vocalist Sam Oladeinde and presenter YolanDa Brown OBE, this Christmas Special features a joyful programme of festive favourites and classical highlights. 

Expect magical moments from The Nutcracker, crowd-pleasers like Sleigh Ride, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, O Holy Night and All I Want for Christmas Is You, plus swing-inspired classics from Duke Ellington. 

Doors open at 7.00pm, with the concert finishing around 9.30pm after an interval. 

Tickets range from £12–£40 (booking fee included), with discounts available for under-30s, students, claimants and seniors.
