Winsford Water Festival 2026

The Winsford Water Festival is a lively community event packed with entertainment, food and plenty of action on the water. Perfect for families, groups of friends and anyone looking to enjoy a relaxed day outdoors.

The highlight of the day is the exciting raft building and racing, where teams create their own rafts and compete along the River Weaver in friendly races. 

Race times:

• Ages 13–17: 12:15pm start
• Ages 18+: 2:00pm start

Teams should have between 2 and 4 participants, and all racers must register in advance if they want to take part. 

Alongside the races, there’s plenty to enjoy throughout the day including live music, food and drink stalls, bars and a welcoming festival atmosphere by the water.

Bring a picnic, cheer on the racers and soak up a fantastic day of community spirit and riverside fun.
